Grilled Hamburger with Fresh Tomato Salsa
Ingredients
3⁄4 | c | Tomato (diced) |
1⁄4 | c | Red Onion (diced) |
1⁄4 | c | Cilantro (fresh, minced) |
1 | T | Lime Juice (fresh) |
1 | t | Jalapeno Pepper (minced, de-veined) |
1⁄4 | t | pepper (freshly ground) |
10 | oz | Ground Beef (extra lean) |
1⁄2 | t | Cumin (ground) |
1⁄2 | t | Onion Powder |
12 | t | salt |
Instructions
Preheat grill. To prepare salsa, in medium bowl, combine tomato, onion, cilantro, juice, jalapeno pepper and black pepper; set aside. In large bowl, combine beef, cumin, onion powder and salt; form into 4 equal patties. Grill patties over hot coals (or place onto prepared rack in broiler pan and broil 4” from heat), turning once, 8 minutes, until beef is cooked through. Serve with salsa.
